Creating a multimedia project can be a fun and engaging way to express your creativity and showcase your skills. To get started, you need to decide on the type of project you want to create and gather your materials such as images, videos, and audio clips. Once you have your materials, you can use a variety of software tools to edit and combine them into a cohesive project.
Some multimedia authoring tools you can use are:

In my opinion, having the right software tools to create eLearning courses or others saves time troubleshooting and allows for the focus to be on the creation part of the project. As with any project, you must have a pre-prepared outline of your project, from beginning to end. Afterward, you review your toolbox to determine what type of software you will need and select them. With your authoring software, design the slides for the presentation or project, insert the media element that you desire, and write. Incorporate the media elements and all other bells and whistles and finalize the presentation. Review, edit, and tweak to reflect your desired needs for maximum impact.
I do agree that there are so many options available for instructional design eLearning presentations or courses that I felt empowered. The key is to understand the strengths and limitations of the software tools and then learn how to use them effectively. Any software tool for instructional design is good, but I will be the responsible party to vet and select those tools that I believe will be most useful to create the eLearning training activating or online course for maximum impact.
And finally, there was no other application that I may not have thought about using previously, use of the software is about creating a proficiency to master the use and fully utilize the features of the software.
